Ive thought of doing similar changes. I planned for unique icons for each planet type, but that required massive changes to the celestial.config. Best I could do with minimal changes is a unique icon for each planet tier instead.

...Awesome. I love the idea of realistic stars at the very least, heh. Gas giants and whatnot being more realistic are great as well, mind you...but yeah. *downloads to use it!*

After i downloaded, it deleted all of my characters. What?

It actually happened, I dont know how to windows screenshot though.

 

There is absolutely nothing about this mod or its download that could do such a thing.

 

I have no idea how, but it happened.

 

only things in the mod are modified graphics, absolutely no code at all...
no idea how/why it would have happened

press 'print screen' key, open Paint, paste (ctrl-v), save (ctrl-s)
or get a dedicated screenshot program, like ShareX

Love this mod. I have one question tho, is this conpatible with Frackin Universe? Also, you should look it the old mod, Nedulas. I think that's what it was called. It added auroras to plant system and the likes. I think it would be cool to also integrate the mod that renames the stars.

 

Neat mod! Would it be possible for me to get permission to try and edit it slightly? It would just be to make the color sequence more realistic. i.e. cool stars are red, hot stars are blue. Also, I haven't really modded before, so it would only be attempting at this point.

 

Does this mod still work on Stable 1.0?

theres a version on steam that does, not sure if i ever uploaded it here
if its just a 'celestials' folder inside zip, itll work fine
if its a modpak, then i'll need to reup
pretty sure old modpak format is not the same as current pak
