Cat driving a Mech (Tiy's Twitter)

Well if you have seen the movie Labyrinth, the goblin mech in that works the same way...><

It may have more controls then what is shown, just like the goblin mech has on the dash...

 

I'm still thinking that the cat is just there for the ride, or as a set of eyes for the headless mech. Maybe the mech had been decapitated long ago, and was shut down for thousands of years, sitting idle and cold in some abandoned glitch factory that was intended to make new glitches (lore!). It was a proto-type and maybe instead of decapitation, it just never got a head. One day a cat jumps into the seat and somehow fused with the mech, awakening it. The two fused together (probably when the cat took a poo and tried to cover it up with the mech seat, scratching away at the pleather and console, exposing some wiring, and... yeah, w/e) and now it's on a search for a true proto-type glitch head, the headless mecha-glitch wanting to be complete, the cat just there for crazy antics and humor!

This need to be a anime. After the cat fuses with the mech, does it become more human-like in terms intelligence? Can it communicate with people, and does the cat turd that fused them together become the core (kind of like a heart) to this fusion of cat and machine?

Okay, so, the mech is all about it's mission, it's primary directive: Must find intended proto-type head.

The cat (who has yet to be named) has made it's home in the cockpit of said mech, the pleather seat all warm and shredded, and will not depart. Not because of disinterest, but mostly because the two have fused as one and it is getting hungry. The mech needs the cat's eyes to continue in it's goal, but the cat keeps licking itself in questionable places, putting the mech in a state of disorientation.

Is the cat a "cat" or is it like a "cartoony cat" which has thoughts, speaks words, and is there just to throw a wrench (c wut i did there?) in the mech's affairs?

 

Mayhaps the cat poo that was the birth of said fusing has potentially been turned into some sort of petrified mass that is nigh indestructable, and since it is probably still in the lower portion of the cockpit, it's hidden from initial view, and probably buried in pleather, seat stuffings and wiring. If one were to destroy this petrified mass, the synergy of mech and cat would end, and likely the mech would slump to the ground in an "off" state once again, and the cat, being a cat, would probably go on about it's business, killing all manner of rodent and vermin for sheer pleasure as cats, natures most ruthless, cuddly and cute killers do.:catface2:

 

Well without the cat, I am assuming the mech would still be motionless. I am assuming both the mech and the cat have different goals, but both are interested in the same place. Kitty just wants some milk while the mech has originally been set out to destroy humans, leaving the hylotl to take over the current planet. Both the cat and mech must overcome their differences and confusion to get to their destination.

My big question is, does this cat mech form an allegiance with non-mech cats and force those cats to help destroy the humans?

My bad for double-posting, but I couldn't let this epic tale slip away!

First of all, cats aren't supposed to drink milk. They LOVE it, but it does mayhem on their digestive system. And by "milk", I mean regular cow's milk, pasteurized stuff.
The 2 of them don't know where to go, the mech has it's goal, but the cat has attention problems, and it's still hungry. So the cat is hoping that the mech will lead it to the drugs milk it wants, but even the smallest leaf flying by can cause the cat to lose sight of any current thought and go into "catch and kill" mode, driving the mech into disorientation again.
If there are hylotl involved.. the smell of fish might get the cat to forget milk altogether! Let's not even talk about what could happen if some avians came by.
Cats are fairly individual by nature, but any non-hostile cat might ally itself with cat-mech. Perhaps even the mech has a homing beacon that can lead it to it's head, and it just happens to be many light years from their current location.
Oh the plight of cat-mech!

 

You just took an epic cat-mech dump on my story.

Now, after seeing your link, I don't know how this doomed-from-the-onset tale can continue to fuel this thread any longer...

I think I might just have to go actually play/test starbound for a while
