If there's someone on the Dev Team that's VERY big on Cats... this may yet come to pass... :lolwut:

I sure hope so! Maybe we could jump out of the mech and wander around as a cat, but we could go into small spaces! But being in the mech was just like being any other starbound race. Maybe if stealth is implemented for massive buildings, especially in adventure maps, Jumping out of the suit would make you more stealthy but reduces damage and armor.

Wow, this is the highest level necromancy spell I've ever seen on these forums. The corpse that is this thread is so decayed... I don't even know what else to say.

On topic. I have yet to see a cat driving a mech.

I think this may be among the biggest thread necros on the internet.

I too hope to see cats driving mechs. Actually, aren't they already in-game?

I was about to write an reply to this "Mad Cat" (horrible Mech Warrior Pun where a mech is named Mad Cat) but instead I see somebody put out the thaumo (damn FTB addiction) necronomicon and brought the back the thread from the dead

Hey, you're supposed to put something related to the topic! If we wanna keep this zombie active, we gotta keep it fed with brains or something...

Er... umm... still haven't found a cat driving a mech. BTW, is the cat driving it, or is it just a synthetic-like creature with a cat head?

    Oh sorry, ups...

Thats a cyborg what you describe then. A cat on a robotic exoskeleton, molten within the exoskeleton = augmented cat = cyborg. Or a cat shaped android/bot.

If its just a suit improving physical strength and armor then its an exoskeleton.
If its altering the users DNA on the go then its a Nanosuit.
If it has a kind of generator for power to provide shielding, jetpack and other need little devices like thermal vision then its a powered armor.
But if its a vehicle with controls like the cat has in this thing (the levers infront of it) then its a mech.

So I would say its a Mech Cat and not a cyborg. Though I wouldnt mind having a cyborg kitty... IRL and in SB ^^

New movie: Cats in a Mech. Kind of like Snakes on a Plane, but not as bad because cats are adorable.

    Snakes on a plane?

That movie was so awesome that it was boring again...

I've never seen snakes on a plane.

You should, its one of the best movies, I dont want to spoil whats it all about but its about a plane. And snakes are on it. And those snakes are dangerous. And the boss of the snakes is a pirate. The pirate snake is one eyed.

So this cat, is it using 2 red-knobbed levers to drive this mech? I imagine one of them is for the legs and the other is for the arms. Not sure how much intricacy there could be from just 2 levers, making it somewhat disadvantageous in any combat situation. What if it encountered a 2block height? Where is jump? What about a bird attack? Do it's arms flail about by just rotating the one lever in a 360 degree fashion, street-fighter-style? Are we to assume there are unseen buttons that utilize these other functions? Or just assume that a cat has only enough intellect to jump in the seat and grab the red levers with it's thumbless paws?

    I MUST KNOW!:lolwut:

It probaly has a pedal for the feet like a car. And the 2 levers got buttons on it. When the cat presses them the arms open and close. The levers are there to set the height of the arms of the mech. The pedals just control where the cat walks. It got a sensor which allows the mech cat to move there where it is watching.

Wondering if there will be ever a sequel or even a prequel to the film: Sequel would be "Snakes on the internet: One eyed snake pirates games now!"
Prequel would be: "Snakes in Taiwan: How everything begun!"
