So, I'll admit I'm not a great pixel artist at all. I have little to no experience working with sprites and pixels in general but I wanted to give it a whirl a while back...so I thought I'd finally post everything I've worked on to see what people might think of them! - Some 'players' wearing Gantz suits! (From the anime/manga Gantz) I think it'd be neat in-game (though probably not going to see it :c ) Edited version of this screenshot Gave the penguin some Gantz armor and swapped the guns out for Gantz guns (the x-gun) Changed Tiy's gun with a sword and recolored some things Another edit, more simple but I thought it was funny Penguins here! vvv Here we have a bunch of penguins (based off of penguins I've seen in screenshots) Penguins - Gantz Peng, Uzi Peng, Ray Peng, King Peng and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Pengs The goat is a recolored version of this. The background was made from scratch by me. Meet the Pengsons! The incredible Peng! He lost his temper, just a bit... My idea with the blush is that he's ashamed to be caught trying to chew you up. - My little version of a bad moon. Looks a bit chunky, I know, but I'm still pleased with the outcome Part of a security system concept I posted a while back. The camera is looking for threats. The system sees a hostile and alarms go off. Security turret come out to attack. I take no credit for all of the art that I didn't change in the screenshots, or for the bases of the penguins and other such things. (This includes recolors, since it's only color changing)
Thanks for the feedback I'll try to do some more tomorrow so I can post more! Maybe some more mash ups and edits.
Gantz is an anime/manga (warning for mature content!) It's great, though I know it took me a while but here's my most recent penguin pixel work! A bit tough to work in details with ze pixels (I was working quite small, maybe I should have gone bigger...) but I'm pleased with the result.
