Capturing Monsters is quite fun.

It started out with finding one. His name is Brobert, and he is my new co-pilot.

He's a little derpy, but I love him anyways. One thing led to another... and well, I have twenty now.

Anyone else do stuff like this yet?

 

I had one Tier 10 baby lizard which had bullshit OP lightning as its attack. The way it would 1-hit stuff so casually just by burping was hilarious.

Has anyone killed a boss with a giant swarm of Tier 1 monsters yet? I'd love to see it.

I have still never found a baby animal. At least, not that I could tell. And I've been in X sector for quite a while. Is there a certain location / situation where you find baby animals? I tend to find pairs of what I assume are "adults" but that's it.

Sadly these are only Beta Sector. I'd love to have an unstoppable army of them. Update, by the way, I'm working towards 42 of them.

You probably have. "Baby" animals are just the particularly small ones. They're the type that weren't present in the very earliest versions of the beta.

My first thought when I made the distress beacon was to get a towel ready.

 

Hold up! How in the world are you able to have monsters as your pets? I thought it'd be something more regular like cats.

 

TOWELS! THAT is what this game is missing! Where is my towel? I want one with the handy tool set sewn in and nutritional supplements soaked into a corner.

Come to think of it, how funny would it be to find a world with the following sign in fiery letters in the distance:

Capture Pods! Nifty little things you can create with a Creature Capture Station. You have to weaken them to below 50% HP, and then you have a chance for capturing. Lucky for me, Brobert and all of his family were always caught.

In other news, on my friend's server my friend obtained an Apex Mech... which after a bit destroyed my player data so that I can no longer do anything but move around, and watch my Brobert horde. At least I have that, still. Still, a shame that I'll have to make a new character. Good thing I have the coordinates for the planet. Speaking of which! It's a pretty weird planet. Massive desert with snow all over the place. The spawn is one of those facilities with the pressurized steel and stuff, which has lower gravity in those areas. Feel free to check it out!

Hello. I've wasted a ton of steel on the small capture pods. It says "Toss at a monster with less than half health" . I've done this at least 50 times and I get 0 results. What am I doing wrong?
