I've been trying to catch these damn monsters using the capture pods, and they never work. I tossed 23 of them at a single monster and nothing happened, is this normal? The monster didn't even have one bar of health left so it was well under 50% HP. Do I need to capture them from non-extreme planets? Are they harder to catch if they are on higher leveled planets or something?
What classifies as a small monster? I'm not trying to catch a miniboss if that's what you're talking about. And I realise it doesn't work on flying monsters either
there are monsters that are about player size, the ones that are really small (barely go up to your waist)
That's kind of disappointing though, shouldn't it at the very least not consume the item or maybe even give you a hint?
I agree that there should be SOME indicator that it only works on small monsters (or returning the item if it doesnt catch something)
