You can craft Nanowrap bandages. You just need to upgrade your ship far enough to get the high-tech crafting station. Make yourself a Portable pixel Printer from there, and then use it, and you can then craft Nanowraps by hand.

 

NO! i have that portable pixel printer in my inventory but no nanowrap show in my crafting list.
actually a lot of item missing after this giraffe patch.

 

You need to use the portal pixel printer (it unlocks recepies when used/consumed), not just have it in your inventory.

Not craftable atm, but the only things its needed for is a doghouse and you can instead 3d print a doghouse once you have the crafting recepie.

You can craft red dye in the last working nightly, so it will likely get fixed in stable "soon".

 

You CAN craft red dye at the moment, unless it was completely removed from the table in Upbeat Giraffe. But it's been in since the last stable update so I don't see why it would be.
You need 20 (I think) red petals from forest/rainbow/flower biomes. Once you pick up petals the recipe should appear in your standard C crafting.

 

It was removed on the winter update, unless they have returned the recepie (but they hadent the last time i tried stable). I assume that it was removed since it hade no use for a long time (the paint tool not needing it and the dog house quest not being in yet).

 

Ah, okay, thanks. I don't want to spread misinformation. I was just going on what I knew of the last Koala stable and assumed that they'd leave them in even if they were useless right now. I hope we get them back as well as their supposed intended use of dying armors.

Now, onto actually relevant things:
If you absolutely have to have a red dye for whatever reason, I know it's in the admin crafting. I spawned a bunch thinking that I could dye my doomlord armor.
I mean, as stated above, they're useless right now but I just figured I'd throw that out there.

 

Dyestation mod has about a dozen different dye types (that come from mixing the primaries), and is great for recolouring armour and dirt. It's one of the must haves imho (the crew one is also really good).

 

I don't like modding much but I am dye'ing to dye and will check it out.

 

If you need red dye for a kennel (for the quest), instead just print off the kennel itself from your ship's pixel printer

Nanowrap bandages can still be crafted if you get the third ship upgrade, which also nets you the Portable Pixel Printer.
