Can't Repair

How do you repair. Ive tried different types of ore. I select it then right click my pickaxe. Nothing happens.

 

Pick it up and drop it on your pickaxe with right click.

 

Try refined bars if ores don't work. My diamond drill can't repair with ores--only refined diamonds. Some of my picks didn't repair with refined bars--only ores.

 

Keep in mind that there are some ores (higher tier ores) that won't repair tools at the moment.

 

Pickaxes have to be repaired with ore of the pick type. I'm only at gold though, so I can't verify if higher levels won't repair.

 

I've noticed that i can't repair a stone pickaxe with stone, so idk if it can be repaired or not. maybe it needs some type of ore

from copper to platinum the ore that goes with it works fine for repairs; in the case of the diamond pick it needs a refined diamond-diamond ore doesn't work for it

 

This is untrue. I repair my diamond drill with copper all the time. In fact, I've never used anything but copper to repair. Unless there was a patch this morning I am unaware of.

 

For pickaxes as well? I can't repair my pickaxe with anything but gold ore... Weird.

 

Yep, never used anything to repair but copper, even with pickaxes. Silver/gold ores repair slightly more, but it's only slightly more and they're more valuable in my refinery.

 

Yeah, kind of a bug. Just like how diamond drills wearing out really fast imo. So the two balance out

 

I can repair my Plat pickaxe with gold and copper ore

 

What you said to do is right, no idea why it isn't working

 

I've been able to repair everything (including diamond drills) with just copper ore.

 

I've never been able to repair with iron ore. Copper, silver, and gold always seem to work, though.
