Can't place path at bottom of farm

Hello! I think I've run into a glitch after the multiplayer update. I am playing a single player game and every time I try to place a path on the bottom tiles of my farm, the chat box pops up and it won't place. I did manage to get one on the right side tile but I've tried tons of times and can't get the left one placed. It's driving me crazy!

 

it's just that the chat is badly placed and takes priorities. it's not a glitch so much as an oversight

 

Ah I see. Well that's too bad. Hopefully they'll change it in the future.

 

i wouldn't mind it if you could just remove chat when you aren't using the co-op

 

I agree. Pretty pointless to have chat in single player haha
