Can't pick up items

I'm almost done with year 2 of a game and all of a sudden I can't pick up items on the ground (such as chopped wood, mined rocks, etc.) unless I'm wearing the Iridium Band. The Iridium Band's radius has shrunk to what is typical of a player without a magnetic ring, and if I have no ring on I cannot pick up anything at all. This started happening after I installed Content Patcher and Artifact Filled Geodes from Nexus. I've since uninstalled them and the problem persists. I went into my save file and tried changing the "magnetic radius" value, which seemed to have no effect whatsoever. I would greatly appreciate some help, I would hate to lose all my progress over this obnoxious glitch.

I've since updated the 3 mods that needed updating, and that didn't fix the problem.
