    Hello!

First-time poster, I hope I'm not breaking any forums rules.

I am having issues starting up Starbound and I can't seem to find a similar issue on this forum, Steam forums and Reddit. If anyone has any idea on how to get my Starbound running it would be great :')

Please update your graphic card driver. If this does not solve your issue then provide your pc specs.

    Hi Iris,

I've updated my graphic card driver, attempted to clean install starbound multiple times as well as redownloaded directx to no avail.

    PC Specs:
    • Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 19041)
    • Motherboard: B350 TOMAHAWK (MS-7A34)
    • BIOS: 1.0S
    • Processor: AMD Ryan 5 1600 Six-Core Processor (12 CPUs), -3.2GHz
    • RAM: 16384MB
    • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6G

In case it applies, look into the nvidia control panel and check if your geforce is selected for Starbound. On some PC configurations it selects the onboard card instead of the dedicated one. It might be the case here.

I'm too sure what you mean by making sure its selected? is it somewhere in this menu?

It should be in that menu, but iirc the setting only appears when there is an onboard graphics card on the machine. I just don't know how the setting is called directly since it does not apply to my machine.
