Bug/Issue Can't launch Starbound anymore...

This problem originally occurred a few months ago: Whenever I tried to launch Starbound (via Steam), I get a "Starbound has stopped working" error message.
I've been trying everything I and some friends of mine could think of, going from removing mods I added recently, mods that had been updated recently, validating game files, uninstalling and reinstalling the game again. Nothing came from these first attempts, not even logs were added to the storage folder.

Today I found time to remove all mods and go through the same processes again, multiple times. Then I noticed that the storage folder was missing, so I added one manually but that didn't help either.

I don't know what else I can do and
hope someone here can help me.
