Can't Launch do to graphical error

    So, I have a standard HP desktop which runs League, Minecraft, Combat Arms, and other games perfectly fine. But for some reason when I try to launch StarBound (Which I just got today 12/19/2013) It brings up an error that says it can't create Direct3d. I need help, I just wanna explore the universe man!
