Modding Discussion Can't get SMAPI to work with steam overlay

Hello, so today I figured I wanted to try Stardew with mods. I downloaded the installer for SMAPI, and then tried running the SMAPI version.Worked just fine.

I then opened my Launch options for Stardew and set my game location\StardewModdingAPI.exe" %command%
But now I can't open it trough Steam, It says it can't find steamapps/common/stardew

Anyone have any ideas what the problem might be ?

 

Hi @ChucklingFarmer. Can you copy your Steam launch options and paste them here?

 

C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\StardewModdingAPI.exe" %command%

Try this instead (the first quote is important):
