Where are the Solarium at? I've tried exploring a massive chunk of a dangerous difficulty planet but there wasn't a single bit of the ores any where in it.

it so hard to find i recommend u to use the liquid u buy from outpost to fill your fuel meter. And for Solarium Ore try going to a magma and volcanic biomes and keep digging down and u come across it eventually
Dangerous-level planets are frozen. Solarium is based on stars. Stars are hot. Why would Solarium be found in a frozen planet?
I've search at least 3 dangerous threat level planets and there was no Solarium to be found, Also I can't go to the magma and lava planets till I have the shield which is from mission i can't do till i get the armor that uses the Solarium.
what armor does the mission say you need? the tier 6 armors are the ones that use solarium and they are not needed for any missions. you must be talking about violium aegisalt and rubium
I must be missing a machine type then, I only have machines that make armor using the materials made from converting the rubium and aegisalt with the Solarium.
The only machines that uses those compunds are the seperator and accelerator benches. But they also use aegisalt and rubium without making the compound (each of the benches have two armors they can make, one from refined ores and one from a compund of solarium and the refined ore). Btw you find solarium on fiery stars (extreme threat level). It could be found on dangerous planets before (rarely) but i belive its been changed. (Theres also a third bench called a seperator bench that uses vioulium and its compund impervium). Edit: Pictures showing the accelerator bench'es two different chest armors:
I found my first Solarium on a frozen planet in a frozen star system. Feels like there's alot more on firey stars though
Was that lately? As i said, you could find it before rarely, but i havent found any in a long time on a frozen world so i assume they changed it. Edit: If the world your mining on was created before said change it may still have ore. Since the universe folder havent been wiped since the winter update but this update happened afterwards (if it is a update and im just not realy unlucky).
Yea i finally see where the armor i had to get is, Bit annoying i wasted so much time when i could so easily have gotten the armor already.
Those machines also make armors out of Refined Aegisalt/Rubium/Violium (which don't require Solarium). If you're only seeing the Ferozium/Cerulium/Impervium armors, you've likely clicked the purple bar in the top-left to view only Purple-rarity items. Try clicking it again to view all the items, or otherwise click the blue bar to view the Aegisalt/Rubium/Violium armors. EDIT: Derp, took too long to submit the reply. Glad to see it was figured out.
Yea good thing i finally came on here to find out what was going on, Searched at least 4-5 planets when i had no need to do so for this armor.
