1. When making a thread, please tag your thread accordingly using the menu to the left of the textfield where you name your thread where applicable. Server Advertisements and Mod Releases should be contained to their respective subforums.

Server Help can't connect to a friend's server

    can't connect to a friend's server and he can't connect to mine, i already tried the FAQs that are here on the site

    Try the following:
    1. Start your server
    2. test your port using this tool:
    http://www.canyouseeme.org/

    If it is closed try forwarding your ports (again).
    If you don't know how to do it look up some videos on youtube.

    Please let us know if your port is checked positive, then we can look for the cause.

    when i try to chech the port i get this error

    Error: I could not see your service on 201.47.76.42on port (21025)
    Reason: Connection timed out

    Then your port is blocked. Did you forward your ports?

    yes i did foward the ports

    EDIT:

    ok so i went and tried to do it agian and i got this error when i tried fowarding the port
