Bug/Issue Can't click accept

When I launch Starbound, it always launches in 800x600 in fullscreen, which is an issue with me because my monitor is a 1920x1080. this wouldn't be an issue, but for the fact that I can't change my graphic settings. The accept button has this.... dead zone around it. It prevents me from clicking accept and changing my settings. Every time I try and click accept, the game tabs out and goes to my desktop. I honestly have no idea how to fix this, I can't find anything about it online so I thought i'd make a post here.

 

I'm having this issue with other programs. what normally fixes this issue is minimizing it (double clicking taskbar icon as the minimize button should also be unclickable) then bringing it back up

 

I can't really acess my taskbar, the game opens up in fullscreen

 

alt-tab, moust over icon until window preview shows up, right click and click minimize, then reopen

 

You can adjust the resolution in the game's config file.
