Cannot Craft Ferozium

i have been trying for a little while now to get ferozium to craft. i have bought the aegissalt upgrade (the one that lets you make ferozium) multiple times, and have tried using it many times, no luck. does anyone know how i can get ferozium? thanks in advance.

 

It is an alloy of aegissalt. You need to search through your crafting table to find the recipe to make ferozium bars.. There is no Ferozium ore.

 

i know that. everyone knows that, stop looking into typos. i know it takes aegisalt and coal to make the bars, YET I CANNOT, that is the reason i am asking. i have the upgrade, i used it, and i cannot for the life of me find the recipe in my robotic crafting table to actually make the bars, i have plenty of both aegisalt and coal, have used the uprade mutliple times, and i have no luck. so the topic is: how can i fix the fact i cannot craft ferozium bars?

 

Have you tried using other crafting tables instead of just looking into your robotic one?.......

 

i can craft everything just fine, i have all crafting stations on my ship, one of the first t hings i did was try them all when i didn't see the bar recipe. so thats a no go too.

i cannot progress any further with the game untill i find a fix, anyone have any idea how to fix it?

 

It's not in the crafting table, it's in the metalwork station.

 

*sigh* ok, let me be clear here: i have tried every station, including all metalwork stations. could you PLEASE stop trolling? if you dont i'll simply report you. i cannot make ferozuim bars, i know which station to use, and the upgrade didn't work for me. does anyone know a way to fix this? i've tried using the aegisalt upgrade more than twice.

 

Do you get a message at the bottom of the screen when you use the upgrade?
Did you try and use the search function, recipes are easy to miss?

 

When you used the Aegisalt upgrade, did it tell you that new blueprints were added?

 

yes, i did, every single recipe but the actual bar appeared. i tried making another, but that didn't help :/ thanks for staying on topic

yes, it did, but it didn't give me the bar recipe. i've tried editing my level 33-35 recipes just to see if changing it at all made the result different, but no luck

 

Try verifying your files on steam.
You said you edited them, did you make a backup first? If so, I'd suggest restoring the backup!

 

ok, quick list of things i have tried:
i have tried making a new metalworking station (that was a pain i had to rekill the boss, but whatever, lol),
buying the upgrade again (again, a bit of a pain having to fight bosses etc), but no luck.
i have tried the other metalworking station (the anvil) but it's not listed there, many aren't as its a level 1.
i have tried recrafting the upgrade with the robot crafting table, no luck.
i have tried crafting an additional robotic crafting station on planet, then again buying the upgrade, no luck.

OH! good idea.. i will probably lose some progress but if it works it works! fingers crossed

 

i did make a backup, but again, no luck. steam fixed the files i had altered, but.. well... i'm in the same boat, still doesn't work. that would have been nice if it had :/ i REALLY do not wish to restart JUST to get this to work... does anyone know any workarounds? thanks for the help dh

 

If any of the 7 filtering icons on the bottom of the screen are active (yellow) The Ferozium Bar won't be listed. Click on said yellow icon to remove that filter.
Ferozium shows up between the Aegisalt furniture and the Ferozium furniture.
If you have used the correct tech module to unlock Ferozium, Ferozium furniture should be visible for crafting.
The item is crafted in the same way as the Durasteel bar, in the Metalworking Station (Anvil Mk2)
You must have used the Aegisalt Upgrade (which unlocks Ferozium) by clicking with it in your active hotbar slot, or while held by your cursor.

i think there was already a problem with ferozium, could be a bug that you cannot craft it

 

Just a quick thought (just checking, no need to feel insulted) are you sure you made the right techupgrade?
You're supposed to be able to craft Feroziumbar, Ferozium chair, door, light, switch, bed and another techupgrade. Are any of these available to you?

Looking into the files, I can't see anything that would likely be a problem, except that it uses an unusual casing scheme (The first letter is capital, where Feroziumbar is referenced. Most things are all lower-case)

If you want to check your files, examine the following files with a text editor (pref notepad++) after navigating to your game folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starbound\

Might be possible to just make them available from tier one as a workaround?
