Introduction:

I'll be modifying the vanilla ships and uploading them for others to enjoy if they like them. There will be more to come over time. I made these to be very high quality and to match the theme established by Chucklefish. Engines and thrusters are all properly aligned and each ship has been tested extensively.

Vanilla Extended

The Vanilla Extended is merely a stretched basic vessel with room for additional amenities. Comes standard with 3D printer, fuel service point, storage locker, teleporter, and a pair of seats for the pilot and co-pilot.

Vanilla Expanded

A complete redesign of the basic hull and installation of additional weapon systems makes an effective craft even moreso. It comes with all the Vanilla Extended features plus an airlock (which is really just for looks)!​

To install:

1. Navigate to: Steam/steamapps/common/Starbound/assets/ships/human
2. Create a backup of the contents of the folder
3. Extract the desired archive (.rar) to the folder
4. Overwrite the existing files
5. Enjoy!

NOTE: This method will only work for new characters - it doesn't work correctly for existing characters, not without a workaround (I know there is one and perhaps someone will be kind enough to link it here, I'll edit the OP with credit if they do).
