Can you still start the old launcher?

The thing is, for some reason Starbound switched to opengl mode. and i can't play any games with opengl on my laptop because i can't update opengl. So what i'm asking is can you still start the old launcher and/or change the game to non-opengl mode manually? Thank you for your help.

 

I want to start the launcher because it seems that now when I start a server steam does not let me play the game because it counts the server as the game already being played. Never had that problem with the launcher.

 

for me the launcher doesn't even start.. the game starts without a launcher

 

I think they may have completely removed the directX version (at least i do not see the exe for it anymore in the folder).

 

well.. yesterday i played the game in the directX version and then i installed mods and it changed to opengl. why was there an directX option in the first place then?

 

Maybe they removed the DirectX version and its all OpenGL now, they removed one of them at least. (for whatever reason)
