CAN YOU PLEASE HELP

    Okay so I'm on year 3 of stardew valley, house completely upgraded AND I CANNOT PLACE ANY FURNITURE. even my starter furniture I can axe it it will go in my bag but then when I try and use my cursor (ps4) to put it back it's green tile but makes this brep sound and won't let me put it back. Currently have my WHOLE FREAKING HOUSE IN MY BAG CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.

          Are you moving around while placing it? You have to be close, but not close enough that you're standing partially on the tile you're trying to place it on

            On my Xbox controller, using the typical "use" button (A) rotates furniture, but doesn't place it. To place it you have to use X (the button I use to use my watering can/axe/etc). I'm not familiar with ps4 controllers so I don't know what the equivalents are but it took me ages to figure that out since it was counterintuitive compared to the mouse controls. Is that the problem you're having?
