Can you get a unpacked assets file for starbound without extra software..?

Can you get a unpacked assets file for starbound without extra software..?
Are there any already unpacked ones around or is there some built in software you can use to get them?
Im trying to vanilla mod my kit but I need to know the name of things like projectiles.

yes. check my signature below and click the middle box. It is a batch file and will use normal windows commands for unpacking the assets. if you do not see any boxes, check your preferences and make sure signatures are on

if you are not on windows, this will not work. I have no idea how other OS's work, but you are essentially running asset_unpacker with packed.pak as the target and Unpacked as the destination, so if you know what your OS has similar to command prompt, you can use it with the same info
