Can you explain this madness?

    Found this super tall pillar on a random planet. It was about 5-6 of them I think. (I made the campfire on top. Just saying)

    I found a similar pillar, though about 4x wider and 3x higher than yours.
    I did not have flying at the time and it took nearly 2 hours to climb to the top--which was well outside the atmosphere.

    There were two of them - one on each side of a very large USCM Prison Facility. I assumed they were walls constructed by the humans to keep the prisoners inside.

    It was my first time venturing outside the atmosphere and as soon as I stepped into the open my screen instantly went pure white as my temperature meter plummeted (I was in the Snow Infantry Armor). I think I have a video of me jumping off the top - though I never uploaded it.

    It would be cool if it was all a single block type. Like ice, or obsidian. Then it could be a sweet randomly generated structure.
