Can the Sol system be found in Starbound?

If it actually was in game, which sector would it be in? Alpha? If it exists and someone finds it, I hope he post the coordinates.
We do know that Earth it's now a Tentacle planet, so maybe it belongs in X?

 

I think we will find out what state sol is in on SBs full release as a quest close to end game.

 

As of now, the starbound lore isn't quite fleshed out. We'll probably hear more about it soon enough.

However, considering that Starbound has an indefinite amount of solar systems and stars I wouldn't be surprised if someone found a system that closely resembled Sol.

Only reason I assume it's a tentacle planet now, is because of this video.

 

It actually is in the game, I just looked at the "Starbound/assets/celestial/names.config" file and searched for 'Sol' . Notepad++ said it found two occurences: One in 'Luxsol' and one in 'Solaire'. However, I have no idea of their coordinates.

Oh also, it seems there is a solar system named 'Glados', just thought I would let you know.

 

I really like this intro, mostly because the reading reminds me of the Fallout intros.

 

I thought Sol got the Japanese hentai treatment in the SB universe?

I think if they would add it in it would be either an eccentric or a Radioactive star, but it would be interresting if the sol system is added yet, but we don't know[DOUBLEPOST=1451929176][/DOUBLEPOST]well I found a galaxy called Premium xD
