Can someone get my IP from joining a server?

    Just a small thread. I was wondering if I joined a Starbound server (like, joined using an IP, not hamachi or anything), would the owners/admins be able to see my IP? Thank you.

    Yes. Your IP will appear in the server logs.

    Yes, Anytime you connect to anywhere on the internet your IP is recorded by the host software.

    If you want your IP protected you could always use a VPN service that has gaming ports open.
