Closed Can open game but game crashes when I open world or start server.

    I am Having the Same problem on my 10.9.1 Mac.

    I start the game and the menu will come up fine. but when I go to single player and select my character It crashes instantly.
    If I try multiplayer it wont connect to any server, when my friends can connect without an issue.

    Please help!

    Disable the Steam overlay.

    You may also need to clean out your player and universe directories, due to Steam not being able to remove old files.

    Its fixed! I already had the Steam Overlay disabled and I had tried cleaning out my player.

    Cleaning out the universe files is what fixed it.
