My system has all the requirements for playing starbound EXEPT RAM of which i have 1.9 out of the minimum 2.0
does .1 GB of RAM make a huge difference?

Are you used to playing games while having painfully low fps? That's what I'd imagine you'd be in for, that is, if you could even run it. .1 G of RAM doesn't make a huge difference, no, but it's also an incredibly small amount of RAM in today's day and age.

Right now it does make a huge difference. Optimization is far down the list, so even if you met the requirements you'd be chugging and in misery. With that much RAM I'd assume your computer is like mine - old, but still kicking. There is a chance you could play it just fine, but I wouldn't take that risk, honestly.

RAM is cheap. You can buy 2-4 more gigs of RAM for the price of this game (almost, but not quite). You should probably upgrade the RAM before thinking about getting more games. I would suggest maxing out RAM speed as well (that might mean replacing your existing ram). Purely on a guess, I will say you need ddr2 pc6400 as not many modern pc/laptops have less than 4, stock. unless you are playing this on a tablet....http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-2GB-2x1...C2-6400-DIMM-DESKTOP-Memory-Ram-/121156278626

Unless you're planning on running a server, I'd be surprised if Starbound got to 2 GBs.

Yea, but Starbound wouldn't be the only thing using RAM.

True, but at the same time, I don't even hit a quarter of that with singleplayer.
