Can i "reset" my Galaxy?

I would like to know how to "reset" my galaxy and delete my Characters. I think i could delete the save-folders, but i do not know where those are located. If anyone could tell me, i would be so happy

 

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Starbound\player

 

Right click game in library, properties, local files tab, browse local files.

This will take you to the Starbound folder. Now delete everything in the PLAYER and UNIVERSE folders. They hold your characters and your planets respectively.

(Unlike Crusender, my guide actually takes into account the people who DON'T install Steam to the default path - the bright people )

 

On the other hand, wouldn't anyone who bothers to install to a non-default path know how to navigate to the folders and not be asking this kind of question?

 

You'd be surprised. I've reached a point where I've macroed a few FAQs to save me having to repeat it several times a day on the Steam forums :whistle:

Eh, people who dont partition or use seperete drives for their OS are terribad.
I mean each to their own, until they ask you to fix their rigs, then you spend 10 hours while they track down holiday pics and save games strewn through their C:
