Can anyone help me optimize?

Well, I've been waiting for a while now for Starbound. It finally dropped yesterday, so I downloaded it. Back before it was even out, I figured that if I could run Terraria smoothly, I could also run Starbound the same. Unfortunately, that's not the case. All I want is to play. If anyone could help me optimize any settings to make the game run more smoother, I'd be very grateful.

My Computer Specs:

Windows 7
AMD E-450 APU Processor
Radeon HD Graphics Card (1.65 GHz)
4 GB RAM (3.60 Usable)
64-bit Operating System

Someone said try running as admin and that should give you a bit more fps, but it's most likely the game itself that needs to be optimized. You'll probably have to play the waiting game

 

I already tried this, I haven't found a "steam.exe" key in my registry.

I see that some people gave you some advice another thing I would do is play on high performance battery.

 

Oh and I forgot to mention is you can go to your task manager and set the game to high priority.

 

I did before, however, it did not do much haha
