Modding Help Can anyone extract this .modpak?

I'm interested to update this mod but I've no tools to unpack it. It'll be appreciated that if anyone can do it, thanks.

There's a program in the place your game is at. In the win32 folder there's the asset_unpacker.exe
Just go into the default Windows command line, write "asset_unpacker.exe [name_of_pak] [name_of_unpack_folder]" and it'll unpack it for you.

 

I can do that for .pak but not for .modpak.

 

You need an older version of the unpacking tools. They have since been redone and no longer support the old format.

Luckily, the mod has open permissions so @Mackinz, who has the old tools, might be able to help out here.

 

I've sent him a message but I'm unsure if he'll reply. He has been lurking around but never replied to anything lately.

 

Might be around, who knows? I don't exactly stalk him.

If anything, you could always try his thread.

 

I guess a message is enough. I don't like to pressure anyone anyway.
I think I should just be a pirate if no one else could do it.

Edit : Alright, I...became a pirate and now I've extracted it myself. Feel free to drop me a message to extract the old .modpak but I'll only do it if the mod permission is anyone can bla bla bla.
