I had already tweeted this idea to Tiy, but I'll post it here too. I saw that Tiy had planned cameos of mobs from different games. Then I remembered there were quests in Starbound. So why not have some quest cameos? You could change up the names and such to avoid conflict between companies and such. One idea for a quest I had was to collect Raptor Heads. And any of you that have played WoW you know what I'm talking about. Another was finding Mankrik's Wife. This idea includes any other notorious or famous quests throughout gaming history of course. So, IMO, this would be an awesome idea to go with the mob cameos. A game full of subtle easter eggs would be great.
Also, once you complete the quest, you should get an item that's based off of something from the game.
Yeah I'd be surprised if I didn't see quests for the cameos. I can only imagine the creeper one lol....
Operation Storm-Cloud. For a period of 72 hours, you and whatever allies you bring with you must defend an individual from terrorist organizations. The individual you are protecting, Harold Evin, is quite possibly the only person within the target system who can amass the political power necessary to unite the fickle Nation he resides in to oppose a madman who has up until the appearance of Harold Evin, been quite unopposed in his destruction and conquest of the star-system. Should Mr. Evin be given the 72 hours without being interrupted, it is quite possible that he can generate enough support to fully turn the situation around, and lead a victorious battle against the madman, code-named "Purity", who has so far counted on the refusal of the systems government to enter open war with him. Further Details pending your acceptance of the mission. please note this is a time-sensitive operation, and you are recommended to make your decision swiftly.
wow, no clue what happened there, normally I'm good about negatives, and double negatives, and all the way up to hexa-negatives. sorry about that. anyways, +1 point to whoever determines what the quest is a parody of +1 point cause its easy-mode.
Ooo, this would be weird if there was some kind of "Mario World" which you had to get a quest to get to. So strange.
Notchman:Quickly adventurer we need you to mate with a creeper to preserve thier race You:What?! There's a quest for yeh!
I want the kind of mission in every zelda game in which you need to get an item to give it to other person to get an item to give it to another person... etc.
"Which" is fine. Im surprised you got "proper grammar" right. People tend to say grammer for some reason out of my comprehension
