No rush!!! I'm working on a Flareon retext myself right now ehehe.

And I know the pain of not enough pixels to get things to look the right shape, but the heart looks great!

I messed around with the Bob sprite I made and turned him into a scarecrow.
Only problem so far is that I'm ONE pixel over the horizontal border limit. So the right side is cut off.

 

Took me awhile just to come up with the basic walking.

...still 7 more rows of animations left.

Oh, I really like the scarecrow!! It'd be cool to see more rare cats as rarecrows, too!

 

I love all the kitties but I especially have a soft spot for Sunny! Thank you for adding her.

I wish I could use them all ;_; Breezy, Smokey, Snowball, Speckles and Sunny are my favorites from the game.

I removed the flaming disk on her back for now to see the body better.

Which body movement looks better?
The one that moves with the head or the one that alternates?


I also want to know how the ear movement looks?

 

I find the first movement looks much more pleasant to the eye

 

Oh my god that Amaterasu sprite is so cute! Gah! The ear movements look good to me, can't wait to see how they turn out!

Edit: Do you think you might do Kabegami for the cat? The shoulder swirls/wings and the tail might be a bit tricky unless you just do the markings. Hm...

 

I'm still getting the hang of sprite art so things are going very very slowly. The first row by itself took like half a day to figure out.

This is what I have so far for the side view. Haven't added the markings on the body, shadows, and ink on the tail and stuff yet.
Oh yeah and the reason why I made the tail small and basic is because I'm pretty much touching the limit before it starts to clip.

I don't like to make promises that I don't know if I can keep. So I'll just say that I'll keep it in mind.

 

OMG I CANT WAIT FOR THIS! I think the first one is nicer too, the 2nd one got my eyes crossed.
