Closed Cactus spawns more drops a minute after harvesting

Bug found: I Harvest a Cactus, collect its drops, then a couple minutes later an additional drop of cactus spawns at the location of the fallen cactus(es) & can be collected for more extra cactus for seemingly no reason at all whatsoever.

 

thats one usefull bug then!

 

Actually, I think it's supposed to spawn 2 separate cactus parts, and one is just spawning late.

 

Hmm... plausible. I didn't pay attention to how many I pick up from the cactus after it gets harvested so I haven't counted how many I end up before & after the bug.

 

Please post a copy of your system specs and your starbound.log. It's possible that your system (or something else) is causing the game to lag at that point and resulting in weirdness.

 

For 'System Specs', we talking DX-Diag? (Edit: Forced to mistype it to stop the Auto-Emote thingie from screwing it up. :/ )

??? Looked to comply with the starbound.log & I have that... & also a starbound.log.1, starbound.log.2, starbound.log.3, starbound.log.4, starbound.log.5... is that intended...? Would those also be of use...?

 

A copy of your DxDiag would work. Also, you only need to post the startbound.log (you may need to enable showing extensions to see which file it is if you're on Windows). The .log.1 etc are the older logs, you'll need to post the most recent one right after you run into this in-game.

 

Sounds good. I'll see what I can do about this next time i'm on a Desert Planet. ATM, i'm on a Snow Planet hunting for Titanium & Uranium. (Trying to avoid having to go to a Radioactive Planet for it cause I have no Radiation Protection yet.) I might even have a Desert Planet in this current System & if so, I could even fly to it & harvest several Cactuses to feed the starbound.log info for the Devs to hopefully be able to make use of.
