I have followed the game starbound for a long time now, and it wasn't until recently that I realized this game was being created. I have to say that while titles like starbound, and project zomboid have completely consumed me in these past couple months. I have longed for another harvest moon game, and one that I could play on a better system then the wii or 3ds. Words can't express how happy I am to see something like this in the works. I love sim games, and something about Harvest Moon has always enthralled me. Especially the original 8bit snes game. I love 8bit graphics, and ape has made some absolutely beautiful art. Everything I have seen on this game has made me overly excited to play it. It looks like harvest moon on crack lol. In fact I just sat down to play the original game, and only found myself thinking of how awesome this is going to be. Keep up the good work ape. Can't wait to play this game.
The same here! ConcernedApe seems to have made Stardew Valley to a perfect new "Harvest Moon"-SNES-Experience. I love the visuals, the music and the gameplay features, and i'm really, really excited about it. And i'm also a big Project Zomboid-fan... it is going so far, that i dressed up as a pseudo-Spiffo on Halloween ;D
I've never posted here, but I've lurked A LOT. I can't WAIT for this game to come out. Especially if there's multiplayer and players can marry each other, kids growing up and helping out on the farm as they grow. It would be an awesome bonus if you could pause and start aging so that you could do generations of your family if you wanted etc... I'd like there to be the option of each player owning their own farm even after marriage too, or they can sell one of their farms when they get married. It would also be AWESOME if eventually there were more skills and gameplay added like being able to run a bakery and run businesses aside from farming, maybe even the option to move off the farm eventually, or be able to own multiple houses and move around whenever you'd like. I hope this takes a more The Sims turn and becomes a story-simulation kind of game as well as the awesome HM-esque game it is. (I'd LOVE the introduction of mythical/magical things. Being able to be bitten to become a vampire and have vampire babies, or witches and dragons! Fun stuff. This game already looks AMAZING! I can't wait. Definitely buying this game release day or shortly after. Watching this like a hawk!
I feel exactly the same way! The multiplayer aspect is especially exciting which is something I've always longed for in these kind of games, a real opportunity to make new friends!
I've said this thousands of time before and I'll say it a thousand times again. This game will be a modders field day. Can't wait!
