Tiy realized my plan and imprisoned me for 3 months.
He fed me only oatmeal and I had to piss in a hole.
He installed a virus in me using his 1337 HAXxing skillz.
Should I ever reveal the release date My head will swell, me throat will shrivel up and my lungs will explode.

Don't know how. Cortex made it, not me, he just lets me use it. Besides, he's a cranky, stubborn little b*tch, I am not going anywhere NEAR him. I think Crash's trolling has gotten to his head...

 

There's still enough time before the end of the year for them release the game, but even if it goes over into January it's not a huge problem. From the fact there's an event where we can try and add our own hat into the game I'm guessing the initial game is going rather well so there adding fan base items too liven the game up with fan support. Of course im just assuming though there's still time either way and at least a rushed game wont have some many glitches and bugs.

 

There are plenty of contests to come and plenty of fan-made creations to be implemented.
I guess that is one advantage of being so close to the devs while they are making a game.
You can rush them with ideas to the point where you are practically stalking them.

I'm just going go wait till its here. Not even going to speculate about it. Just like its the usual with Blizzard games: 'its done when its done'. Ok, looking at the gameplay feed it looks pretty much done already...

 

Ok, I'm not a coneisseur of today's development schedules. But, well, I don't know if you guys were around by the time when the PS2 was active. A whole lot of their games were delayed even beyond a year. Did that mean they were not going to be release? No, of course not, they were released. The main problem with game development is that THERE IS NO WAY to know how long it's going to take a game to be finished. Even more, Chucklefish has been so gentle as to give us ESTIMATED RELEASE DATES, which shouldn't be taken as set in stone under any circumstances.

I don't intend to be rude, guys, much less, I'm only expecting people to have some patience, because sometimes this whole situation feels like those teenagers who expect sex on the first date and then, if they don't get it, they call the girl "a bitch". So, guys, everyone, be patient, please.

 

Tiy was working on it before development on Terraria started.

 

Probably early next would be more likely cuz' hey, Dev's and the consumers has the holidays to think about

I think we've waited enough. I think you're right, it will be better after adding few things, some debugging etc, but I also think that Chucklefish won't make us wait longer. I remind you all, the first release was meant to be in summer 2012. Btw, if they really are going to release Starbound by the end of the year and are intending to make an open beta, then they should do it NOW.

 

Unfortunately, I think it's too late for an open beta. Due to the fact that they are about to release it by the end of the year, which is sometime next month, and they still have some bug fixing and adding the finishing details. But who knows? That's what I think at least...

 

I know what Tiy said about pre-orders, but I'd like the option anyway. I don't have the best internet connection and I'd like to be able to pre-load the game so I can play it the second it's released.
