butterfly boost wont work

my butterfly boost tech wont work i locked it in and made sure it was the ony one in but it still wont work

 

Have you actually gone into your inventory and clicked to activate it? I don't think it does that automatically, even if it's your only tech.

 

do you mean activate the blueprint because i have done that

 

He means under your character image on the inventory page. There should be four tech slots there. You have the select the one you want to use- it doesn't seem to let you have more than one in use at a time.

 

To use it ensure:

1. You've activated tech (you said you've done that, so that's a start);
2. Set the active tech:
   1. Go to the ship
   2. Go to the tech station (select Tech not 3D Printer)
   3. Click the desired tech in the list then click "Lock in" on a slot.
   4. Check your inventory has it active (Press I / visit your inventory/character screen) and click it (it needs to be bordered, probably on by default if it's the only one)
3. Use (specific to Butterfly)
   1. Jump
   2. Release space and hold space again

 

Why... is this in suggestions?

 

i fixed it but then the new update so it doesnt matter
