Butterfly Boost tech is ridiculous

So, I found this tech called "Butterfly Boost" some time ago. While in the air, you can move in a direction and press space to fly in that direction for a short amount of time. What I didn't realise until recently is that you can just tap the spacebar to conserve energy and pretty much fly around for an infinite amount of time, even being able to fly into space with this tech alone. I haven't actually seen much discussion about this, and I was wondering if anyone else has encountered the same "problem" I've had with this.

It's good fun to use, but seems pretty broken at this point.

 

Ill admit its crazy over powered (Flying above the monsters on a L40 planet) but I love it. Found a wedding dress and a violin, need to get the sound of music soundtracks and fly around

 

The Bubble boost is about the same (with bubbles instead). Not sure if the butterfly one is better though as I only have the bubble one.

 

Try to shoot something and you will fall quickly. It is not broken, really helpfull with bosses, but can get you killed fast if you careless.

 

I haven't seen Bubble Boost, but I can imagine they're the same thing, along with whatever boost techs that may be hiding out there.

 

Bubble moves a bit faster from what I've seen(Friend and I raced, he has butterfly, I have bubble).

The techs, while fun, are OP as hell. Dunno what to do to change it either, but then again using it with Impervium(Which has insane regen) makes it hard to know how to change it.

Might as well leave it as it is for now until a good idea to make it usable and fun but not this broken comes along.
