Bunnies are sad

I have 2 bunnies at 2 hearts and I can't figure out why. I pet them, feed them everyday. It's currently winter so I don't let them out. Any ideas?

Did you buy a heater for the coop?

 

Even with a heater, the animals can get sad during the winter -- just hang in there till spring.

 

I've never had my animals lose any hearts in winter. I kept them warm, petted, and well-fed.

 

Did they lose hearts or are they just still new? Bunnies take a pretty long time to earn hearts in my experience.

Also, just to make sure, the door on the coop for the animals is closed, right?

 

Did you perhaps happen to name one Hasenpfeffer , by any chance?

Bunnies have feelings too.

 

I found when it comes to critters in winter its like Heater+pets a day + making sure they got food + making sure the barn door is closed. (if its open, I think it can still upset the animals in winter)

 

Maybe they are mad because someone is pulling out their fur for make cloth. I know that would upset me.

My bunnies seem to be from Chernobyl. So far I have had about 15 feet off the pair of them. Weird.

 

Bunnies take a long time to gain hearts. In Winter, you need a heater, food and pet them every day. Sooner or later they will gain a heart!
