Wouldn't it be cool if you made a base on a planet, and if you don't leave a crew there, coming back to find cracked windows, cobwebs on the walls, and plants growing on or inside it. Possbily having a few animals living there? Not on your homeworld obviously, but having a base you made being turned into an abandoned base that you or others might find? It could be anoyying, but as stated when griefing was brought up, on most planets you won't be there long enough to care. And if you like the planet for a bookmark, you could just station one crew there. I've heard you can have an unlimited number of crew, but a limited number on the space ship, and you already would have to put the extra crew in your bases.
a simple mechanic but one that's awesome. I think this would work especially well for your friends (etc.) to explore the wreckage on the planet.
for me it would be in a esting, the ability to leave predefined texts for me, the crew left the base, giving them an ability to subordinates to interact with visitors, offering missions, or limitations as answers, any artifice conversation with effect from triggers, to attack the attacker if he is opposed to predetermined terms. dialogue in text boxes. example: x location approach: - Hello my name is carter. welcome to our base. our stay rates are the best .. en can I help you? answer choices below: - Who I am does not matter now. but I want to stay. which their prices.? other:. -I came here to conquer your planet, surrender or be killed! other: - I come in peace as we could make a lasting alliance? other: - At the moment I am without means to pay for a stay, but if you get me a job I'm interested to missions you have any for me? other: - I'm leaving not wanna waste my time here.
Yeah, I loved exploring my failed Fortresses in Dwarf Fortress, and I thought doing the same here would be awsome.
