[Bug] Passing through connected platforms unreliable

With two or more platforms joined in a straight line I am able to jump above and pass through them. However, using the down key will not let me drop down through them, and holding space while pressing down seems to cause character to pass through all platform layers at once resulting in massive fall damage. It seems simply tapping space and holding down, then releasing quickly is only way to safely navigate a vertical shaft for now.

 

I second this, it's really annoying.
