Bug on Android 1.4: Animals eat no grass

Since the update to version 1.4 my animals eat no grass. I noticed it first in winter when the silo stayed full. Now in spring when they are outside, they eat nothing either, the grass is overgrowing the pasture. They are perfectly happy though, and keep on producing.

System: Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, 8.0, with Lineage OS 16.0 (Android 9)
Stardew Valley Build 1.4.5.137
