Sup everyone, As the Thread title this is a suggestion to bring in Starbound a New Biome : " Spooky Forest " You can find this suggestion - with many others - also in the " Big Suggestion Thread " here ( Sept. 2016 spoiler ) : http://community.playstarbound.com/threads/starbound-the-big-suggestions-thread.43196/ - " Spooky Forest " Undead / Halloween Biome : this new type of biome let you can find undead monsters, skeletons, skeletal monsters, ghosts, zombies and such creepy / halloweenie stuff. The Biome is full of cemeteries / graveyards / tombstones, themed furnitures, trees ( like the ones found in the bog biomes in Frackin' Universe mod, talking about the dead trees with spooky faces ), carved pumpkins, spooky abandoned houses, blood pools, etc etc Foggy, blood rain weather, just a little sunlight during the day and long nights in darkness ! Undead Monsters / unique mobs and parts found there are obviously themed ( suggested new kind of mobs here : http://community.playstarbound.com/threads/bst-legacy-generated-monsters-new-kind.123791/ ) : - Skeletons - Skeletal monsters ( flesh parts, boney only, etc etc ) - Ghosts - Zombies ( avian, human, etc etc. ) - and some more creepy stuff This biome suggestion was made long time ago in the old VITSOTU Thread, based on the " Spooky Forest " biome pattern ( don't know if it's still in Frackin' Universe ) that was available :
Thatd be awesome especially if it would be quest given by the outpost at certain intervals like bloodmoons in team fortress
Yup ! That how it should work for the Events Quests, for Christmas, Halloween, etc etc, the NPC ( and the dedicated shop ) pops up in the Outpost ( near the Treasured Trophies for example ) and he / she will give the first of a chain quest to do. Also random NPC found on the planets will give you themed quests for the X event I've posted the events stuff in the big suggestion thread too ( and with quests you get tokens to use in the shop to purchase special stuff )
