Brony developers.

Yesterday I found out something AWESOME.
Kyren is a pegasister, and omni is a brony!
I don't know if anyone else in the chucklefish team is a brony, but that's pretty awesome. I wonder if they're going to sneak in any references.

personally I think they should keep references down to a minumum... cause...er.
Some people reaaaallly dislike MLP.

 

I wouldn't mind a small amount of references but I dont think MLP would suit starbound.

 

i think the more references the better, related to mlp or not.... but thats just me
EDIT: although they should be well hidden so you get a sense of accomplishment when you discover one

the above is more then enough "reference" to MLP, personally i would rather there be no mlp cameos or whatever in starbound: keep that stuff to a minimum

I have no problem with the show. It is the fanbase that drives me crazy. Though its not everyone. Usually it is a handfull of 'bronies' that are so over the top that they give the rest of the fanbase a bad name.

 

The odd thing with MLP fandom, is that a rather large chunk is a 'bad' brony.

No, don't remember where I read it but I don't go on IRC so can't be there.
Superman + Pinkie Pie would be a double lawsuit for them anyway. They had to ask to add the creeper/diglet cameos, it's not different for these two. I seriously doubt DC Comics and Hasbro would agree.

 

I hate the whole brony thing in general, I don't care what you do in your private time, but keep it of the beauty of what looks to be my weekends (AKA Starbound...)

Also remember that's what making mods is for, so all you bronies can just turn every 4 legged creature into them on your own!

This is exactly what I was thinking when I read through this thread. Leave all the Pony business out of the game and let people mod it if they want.

 

Theres really no hate directed towards them at the moment
but really just people saying "Please don't add them, its not really needed in the game"
