i wasn't on much day of yester

 

Well, I use two styles of shading:

This one (the one I normaly use):


It's made with the airbrush tool, the hardest option.

And the one I used in the wallpaper:
First I make the shade with the pen tool, then I blur some parts to make it look nice.

I usually use the first one because it's faster, but both look pretty nice.

I tried used the second method when drawing [this]. Awell. Practice practice practice...

 

It looks very nice =D! You just have to make shadows a bit bigger (in places like the neck), so the color is not too flat. Also, here's another version of the wallpaper that you might like:
