Derpy there is a way for using a different HDD for steam I have 3 HDD in my computer (C being a really small HDD so it would be a bad idea to run my games off that one) D (program HDD) and F (storage) when you install steam change the install location to your other HDD and it will install steam on that HDD and all games too)

 

Ha, I would love to see the changelings try again to take Equestria, for this time the Doctor and his "blue box" will be ready.

 

I too have completed the quest, and my right index hoof sufficiently aches.

 

But would I still have to uninstall my games? I don't usually uninstall stuff, I usually install them. I'm damn good with computer and I'd really like to learn code or other sorts of computer-related things such as coding.

You would probably lose your game data since the current install in under that HDD and the new one would be accessing data from the new HDD

 

Oh, but no reinstalling of games? All i have installed are Fallen Earth(MMO) and a game that is far too nicely done for my computer that I cannot even use the main menu without lag. Damn my inherited computer! Better than my last one, though.

 

Sorry I may have not been clear in my response. Lets say the current HDD you have steam installed on is HDD 1 and you are wanting it to be on HDD 2. If you install steam on HDD 2 you will have to reinstall the game in order to play it from HDD 2, since if you used the one on HDD 1 it would only access the steam data it sees on HDD 1. I don't believe you can just change the install location without having to re install the games/steam on the new HDD.
