from looking at clan infinity, it seems a lot of bbts members are also clan infinity members

Egh, I'm all for being tolerant of the people who genuinely hate us, but I don't think actively going up to someone like that would be a safe idea, especially if he's really going to harass people like he says. If someone came up to you and was just criticizing the show, then yeah, then discussing your views is fine, but if its someone who's being aggressive, shouting abuse and whatever, then it would be better to ignore them and not make a scene of things, if someones acting out of hand like that then that's what security is for.

 

yes of course, i didnt mean that people should go up and confront him. rather, i meant that if he confronts someone, hopefully the other people near them will stand with that person and either get the harasser to leave, stop, or simply help the victim ignore the harasser until the harasser does the aforementioned things.

 

Yeah that is what I meant. Don't start anything. If the person wants to talk calmly and civil by all means talk. ^^ Sometimes all it takes if for someone to reach out their hand in kindness to make a new friend. People can change for the better if shown that they may not understand or were factually (not opinions) incorrect about the subject they hate. ^^

I totally agree, there *are* some people who won't change their opinion though, i think people should people take caution, just in case.
Also, Saberspark is awesome, one of the most inspirational bronies out there, for sure.

I am kinda excited. There a con coming not to far from me next summer and it already has one of the VA from the show (I hope I can go and we get more VA/staff as well as some big name bronies like maybe mandopony, saberspark, dustykatt etc)

Lucky! I wish I lived nearer to a con, not sure how i'd deal with crowds of people though.

 

i'm not too far from illinois is the best way to put it the easiest. which means i could potentially go to chicago if there is a big one there, which i think midwestria was. but, i didnt have the money for travel like that right then.

 

Never been to a con before. Have wanted to go to like E3 or something but that's half way across the country for me. This one appear to be less than an hour drive (around 50 mins I think mapquest said). Just sucks its not till like late june of 2013 I think. So far away.

 

Give it some time I would not be surprised to hear of a con in that region sometime. The MLP cons are growing more and more. They seem to be spreading out pretty good so its likely just a matter of time before there is 3-4 in every state. lol

 

I have always wanted to go to E3, but noooooo, I have the second-last week of school while E3 is in progress. (At least I get to watch E3 through my phone.)

When I first heard about there being a MLP Con (this was before I became a brony), I was convinced that the fanbase must be HUGE and that there was something about the show that everyone loved.
