Oh, hello stranger. I read through your essay, it's very good. Although for the most of it you seem very colloquial, as if this was a speech rather than an essay. I personally have nothing wrong with that, although some teachers might if this is for school.

And yes, I've felt sleep paralysis. Pain in the ass. I could hear my alarm going off but couldn't get up to shut it off. Also feels like you can't breathe, which kinda sucks when it's 5am and you're groggy to begin with.

It's so damned annoying because your awake, but you can't move at all.
I learned to move my hands and to try to sit up to counter the affects,
But it still usually takes time.
