I just going to included a picture because I'm not good with words. Just an idea, not sure if it has already been said or whatnot but it would be cool to see. -Thank you ^_^

Looks like planet cracking didn't go well huh ? It would be pretty hard to keep space ship on orbit with all that garbage around, but moving around that small "islands" would be hell of a jump quest!
Holy bugger it's the world's biggest jumping puzzle. Although I don't imagine much of anything surviving whatever caused THAT little mishap. ...Quick question. Why isn't gravity pulling the planet back together? At the very least, whatever chunks that stayed in orbit should form a debris ring(and the gravity of the planet would eventually cause it to assume a rough sphere shape again.)
Just want to mention that Devs added something similar to the game today Maybe it's not a broken planet but a bunch of random asteroids higher on orbit Effect is pretty simmilar I think
What if those asteroids could eventually collide with each other (read: stack together) and after a certain amount of blocks stuck together, the asteroid becomes denser, and a rare ore starts forming in the core, and that everything could come falling down on the surface, revealing a smaller amount of that said ore, since most of it burned in the atmosphere, so you're encouraged to fly there and dig the ore while it's still in space?
Aion... "cough cough" Devs already stated that planetary cores are impassable so I don't know exactly how it could be implemented, but good idea.
The core doesn't have to break. It will be covered in magma anyways so half of the big flat world could be a giant crater with floating rocks above it.
