Boundstar.com - What planet are YOU on?

My staff does care about things like that. When it occurs, you need to contact an online admin (either through steam, Teamspeak, or in game), or submit a post on our forums in the Help section. I know for a fact that they would never go to your ship and destroy it. They know better.

 

I'd like to point out also that clam is so wrong its funny. If we DC'ed you then we would be kicked off your ship... we do not board users ships and we do not grief.
We are on the Hub planet, we cant help people that wont even give us a reply when we ask them whats going on, or the name of the person doing it.
As for my DC gun, I will use that as it lasts less time then a Kick and its faster, meaning I can stop a grief at the start and not like 50-60 seconds in.

 

I invited a couple of people in my ship and they are a bunch of good guys maybe your'e just unlucky..and btw your ship has 3 backups in the player folder

 

I like this server and wish to rejoin, but alas my internet doesn't like the server as much as i.

If you do not have the fuel needed to make it to the spawn planet at X:59, Y:61 Alpha Helgavisa Majoris, planet I B, send an invite to Baine, our server admin's alt character. He orbits the spawn planet and you can beam down from his ship.

How to server: Upderp Edition!

I've realized that my presence on the forums has been absolutely nil in lieu of being more active in-game, so I'm here to rectify that to show you all what I've been working with my staff on!

BIG changes are coming to Boundstar!

Soon, we'll be back on track with the following things:

A NEW, BIGGER, static spawn system! Weapon progression with upgrade-able weapons at our custom item merchants. More custom item merchants, with dyed armor, custom weapons and the like! Custom player vs enemy bosses that reward you with EXCLUSIVE items and titles on our forums! More events, and a special BUILDER BEAT THE HEAT summer event party to celebrate the new spawn system!

Thats why you should never trust anyone on public servers. I have 1 month of a ship that I built on my own that can easily be FULLY destroyed aswell as many rare stuff. I don't trust anybody for a reason.

 

what the heck, the server's down

 

We're going to be updating our spawn planet system soon. I'll update the OP with the new coordinates for our new spawn system as we update it.

 

We've started clearing out old world and player files since my absence and the server should be running smoother! We'll still be sweeping up the server in the next couple weeks before we move the spawn planet.

 

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce that our build admin and our former friend, ZeroDevil / Gin Kyoshiro, is leaving staff, citing personal reasons.
ShiniKaze has stepped up to take his rightful place as server administrator.


With this, our new staff lineup is thus:

Owner & Co-owner s: Munlock, Fanservice & Maikoa
Server Administrators: Maikoa & ShiniKaze
Administrator: Khrinoc
Moderating team: Crorus, Hatsworth

 

He didn't even deny about the admins griefing the ship And nobody is on??

 

Beam down and I get greeted with someone shooting me to death, how is this server supposed to be fun?

 

"I know for a fact that they would never go to your ship and destroy it" IS him denying that any admins griefed a ship.

Furthermore, I can state that the person in question claiming that they were "griefed," is in fact a known griefer themselves. However, I will look into this accusation, because my staff behaving (even theoretically) in any way other than the standards I've set for them is unacceptable.

I can only think of a few reasons that this would happen: You were breaking rules, and a moderator killgunned you (They should have warned you first, however....), you were caught in crossfire, griefer having a go at you, or you jumped into a killgun. Normally this isn't a norm for the server, but since the spawn has been set to static there has been an increase in persons being caught in crossfire. Should you lose any pixels, staff would reimburse you should you ask.

 

Does this mean I am banned forever

 

loool, the server has ridiculously infantile admins (no offence to anyone in particular who feels they aren't). The link for submitting a ban appeal is not working for me, because Boundstar's web page doesn't seem to load for me, but yeah. I'd like to be considered for a ban lift, mostly because of the dumb reasoning for the ban (which, admittedly, did include some insulting from me, but I think it was warranted, considering one of the moderators called me a fuckface the first time he addressed me, for something harmless, which is not how a moderator who has any semblance of competence should behave).

 

I'd need to know your in-game name to consider unbanning you, however I'd like to inform you that calling my staff "immature" and then stating that the reason you were banned was "dumb" do not assist you. I instilled the present server rules for a reason, and those who come to this server need to follow them. I'd assume in this instance that the staff member in question would be Khrinoc, and I will speak with him on how he is addressing users that are breaking the rules.
