I hope everyone is enjoying the new forum and website, I'm going to be tinkering with a few things tonight and looking at my boundstar MEGALIST.
I have a list of all the things that have ever been requested of me for the server on that MEGALIST, I'm going to crunch it down to what was asked the most and try and provide it before the next time I go into work--- which is tomorrow night.

Also-- just throwing the idea and question out there...
Do you still know people that have not played Starbound but would like to?
Why couldn't they play?
Would it interest anyone or their friends if I did a game key giveaway?
Besides game keys- what makes a good Starbound giveaway?

Maybe I'm just not posting this in the right spot, or the right way...
I already have some game key giveaways planned but I wanted to pick something that other people might enjoy that already have starbound, here is what I came up with:

Copies of a crafting game of your choice:

• Magicite
• Rust
• Minecraft
• Terraria
• Don't starve
  
• Etc (More starbound or a donation to chucklefish is always a choice!)

Custom Commission Character art:

• From a commission artist that I can verify
• or an artist that I can suggest for you!

Private servers:

• Your own starbound server and lessons (if needed) on getting it started
• Access to our custom server tools for your own server

Still working out the kinks for the ideas any feedback is welcome.

Here is the fine print:
The first 25 unique users that post will be entered to win!
Once the 25th user has posted I'll be picking by making a list of the entries randomizing the order and picking a random number.
This will be done on a live stream within 3 days of the 25th unique user's post!​

I will be contacting the winner with the chucklefish forums- so stay alert to win!
If you don't claim the prize in 24 hours of the drawing then it goes to the person after you on the list!
I will be promoting the giveaway more after a few hours so tell your friends first before it's over!

Hey Everyone! I recently joined Boundstar and I thought I'd post something here as well as a introduction
Been a while since I've played a game like this with other people, not since minecraft actually which has been a couple of years...
Hopefully I'm not too rusty and cannot wait to see you all in game

honestly, i feel like a good person that im the first to apply in this comp because of what youve said mun, but then again i might've just seen it first then another saw it after i saw it so...yeah

 

Still amazed that announcing a free prize stopped this thread in it's tracks.

Anyone have any questions about the server, requests or anything?

I just made an announcement over the steam group and forum about what we are doing and where we are headed.
I'll be announcing this give away to everyone on the 25th if we still don't have 25 entries!

 

I'm super interested in joining this server but when I try it says "Join failed! Timeout while establishing connection" Is there anything special I need to know about trying to get on this server?

 

If that's happening over and over and you can't figure it out reach out to an admin on the forums or team speak--

I'm betting the cause is the /pvp command, which seems to put the server in limbo after being used, preventing new connections.
